Egg Hunter: Highway Chase (the “App”) is a casual arcade game. Your privacy matters to us, and our approach is simple: the App does not collect, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no advertising networks, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the App.
To make the game work, the App saves your progress locally on your device only. This includes: coins and scores, achievements, purchased in-game items (skins, backgrounds), settings (music, sound, haptics), your chosen player name, and your reading progress in the facts library.
This information never leaves your device. Deleting the App permanently removes all of it.
The App can use your device camera or photo library only if you choose to set a custom profile picture. Access is requested through the standard iOS permission dialogs, and you may decline — a built-in mascot avatar is always available instead.
The selected photo is stored only on your device inside the App’s private storage. It is never uploaded, analyzed, or shared. You can remove it at any time in Profile → Edit Avatar → “Remove photo”, or by deleting the App.
The “Explore Online” section and the built-in reader load publicly available educational content over the network:
These requests fetch public content only and include no personal information about you. When you open an article in the in-app reader, the request is handled by those websites under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the Wikimedia Privacy Policy for details.
The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since no data collection takes place at all, no children’s data can be collected either.
The App contains no advertising and no real-money purchases. All in-game items are bought exclusively with virtual coins earned by playing.
Because all game data lives only on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can reset your progress in Settings → Reset Progress, or erase everything by uninstalling the App. Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA), no further action from us is required since we hold no data about you.
If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the App Store release notes of the corresponding update.
